Privacy Policy

Nudgix (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs a WhatsApp-based reminder service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain because that's the point of the product.

1. What we collect

• Your WhatsApp number — used to identify your account and deliver reminders.
• Messages you send the bot — your reminder text and commands (e.g. “remind me to call mom tomorrow at 6pm”). We process these to understand intent and timing.
• Reminders & schedules — the parsed reminder text, fire time, recurrence, and timezone.
• Timezone & profile name — to fire reminders at the right local moment and address you correctly.
• Billing data — if you upgrade to Pro, our payment processor (Razorpay) handles your card details. We never see or store full card numbers; we keep a customer/subscription reference and plan status.

2. How we use it

• To create, schedule, and deliver your reminders on time.
• To understand your messages using a language model (see “Sub-processors”).
• To enforce plan limits and process Pro upgrades.
• To keep the service reliable, secure, and free of abuse.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your reminder content for advertising.

3. Sub-processors

We share the minimum necessary data with trusted providers:

• Meta (WhatsApp Business Cloud API) — to receive and send messages.
• Google (Gemini API) — to interpret the natural-language text you send. Message text is sent for parsing only.
• Razorpay — to process Pro subscription payments.

4. Data retention

We keep your reminders while your account is active. Sent and cancelled reminders may be retained for a limited period for reliability and support, then removed. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time (see “Your rights”).

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, message “delete my data” to the bot or email us at hello@thestupiddevs.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Children

Nudgix is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted here with a new “last updated” date.
